Supply List

Before we can get started with the fun stuff, let’s make sure you have everything you need. Since this class is just covering the basics for decorating this floral cookie set, you’ll need to have sugar cookie and royal icing recipes (and all of the supplies that go with those) on hand. Beyond that there are some additional decorating supplies to gather…

The Essentials

  • Tipless Piping Bags
  • Gel Food Coloring (I recommend “Americolor” brand)
  • An edible ink marker
  • A scribe tool (or pointy toothpick)
  • A penblade or sharp paring knife for hand-cutting the envelope (as well as the other cookies if you plan to use the provided templates)
  • Sharp scissors for cutting your tipless bags
  • A rolling pin (ideally with thickness guides)
  • Access to a printer for printing templates

For your convenience, I’ve compiled this supply list on my Amazon storefront. Head on over if there’s anything you’re missing!

Cookie Cutters

In this class I am providing two different options…

  1. Purchase a bundled set of cookie cutters from The Cookiery HERE
    • NOTE: The same cookie cutter will be used to make both the “Little Blue Buds” cookie and the “Small Flower Cluster” cookie.
  2. Cut your own shapes using the templates provided.

The cutters and templates are very similar but NOT EXACT. The videos in this class all follow along with the cookie cutter shapes, but should make plenty of sense even if you’re opting to use the templates. There are two options for the Step-by-Step Guides however. When you print out your guides pay special attention to whether you need the guide that corresponds to the cutters or the guide for templates.
